Situated in stunning Rosebank, Clyde Valley in south lanarkshire along the river Clyde is The Popinjay Hotel, a gem of a wedding venue with incredibly scenic views at your fingertips.
At the Popinjay Hotel wedding venue I know that no matter the weather your photos will be beautiful. Just a one minute drive or less from the hotel is Mauldslie bridge.
Many brides choose to be taken there for some breathtaking photos right on the bridge.
On either side the river Clyde is glistening, the trees are bright, birds are flying all around and the greenery is everywhere you turn.
Imagine that? There are very few wedding venues in South Lanarkshire you can capture a photo like that.
The rooms are of a good size and there is a desk for me to work from. The staff are accommodating so if we need another table we can just ask.
Once I arrive I’ll set up my bridal makeup kit, position my makeup chair for your comfort and get started. Whether you’ve had a bridal trial or not I will always ask a few questions to make sure I’m very much on the page as you in regard to your very own bridal makeup and your bridesmaids.
Mothers of the bride and groom tend to be a little anxious about having their makeup done. Their generation was so different to how things are now and I understand that. However I have 12 years of extensive experience on mums and mature skin.
