The views across Harperrig Reservoir set a calm tone from the moment you arrive and it’s easy for guests to find which is always a big plus.
As a bridal makeup artist with over 12 years of experience I pay close attention to how a space affects the wedding morning.

My favourite spot is the large wooden table in the kitchen which gives me perfect space for my full professional setup.
If that space isn’t available there’s a beautiful sitting room beside the side entrance with large windows that provide gorgeous natural light.
That kind of space matters. It means I can work efficiently without feeling cramped and give you my full attention while creating makeup that enhances your features, lasts all day, and photographs beautifully.
Cairns Farm also has a room with big mirrors and plugs which perfect for your hairstyling. However it’s not ideal for makeup so I find the dining or sitting room gives the best setup helping everything stay calm and on schedule.
For me this wedding venue has it all. Stunning scenery, gorgeous natural light, plenty of space and a relaxed atmosphere that sets the tone for the whole day.
